IntLex 135: 729 days in Ukraine, fighting with my rifle and my voice
Not an interview. His own talk. A two-and-three-quarter-hour presentation in English on 729 days in Ukraine and the shift from fighting with a rifle to fighting with a voice.
This is Sampson’s own presentation, not an interview. It is a two-and-three-quarter-hour talk in English on his 729 days in Ukraine. He talks about moving from U.S. Marine Scout Sniper to advocate, fighting with his voice instead of his rifle.
With more than 3,000 days in war zones during his lifetime, he speaks about what the battlefield is really like and why freedom, independence, and sovereignty matter.
“729 days” is the talk’s own figure. The site’s canonical day counts are reconciled separately. Description from the publisher, lightly condensed.
